WHEREABOUTS
Setting a repeat working schedule
You can create a repeating work pattern within Team Today for yourself or for others
This is particularly useful if you work on a part time basis or work the same repeat schedule each week. For managers you can create hybrid work patterns for your team to follow.
Turning on schedules
Admins can turn the schedule feature on by:
- Go to Settings / Management
- Go to Company Settings
- Scroll down and enable schedules, setting a maximum number of weeks users can schedule (up to 52 weeks)
To set a schedule for yourself
If your company has opted to allow setting a repeat schedules then simply:
- Set your whereabouts
- With the Whereabouts menu open, tap the "Repeat Schedule" button.
- You will be asked how many weeks you would like to repeat the schedule for.
- Your company can set different limits but the maximum you can set a schedule for is 52 weeks and confirm.
- Allow the whereabouts to update each week for you.
To set a schedule for others
- Go to set whereabouts for another user
- Then complete their work pattern for the week
- With the Whereabouts menu open, tap the "Repeat Schedule" button.
- You will be asked how many weeks you would like to repeat the schedule for.
- Your company can set different limits but the maximum you can set a schedule for is 52 weeks and confirm.
- Allow the whereabouts to update each week for them
- The next time they login in they will be asked to confirm the whereabouts, this will then update their work calendars.
Trouble shooting
If you receive a message that all the weeks haven't been updated this will be because:
- There is a company holiday in one of the weeks
- There are holidays waiting approval.
- There is a desk booking window preventing booking a desk too far in advance.
In this scenario the easiest thing to do is simply navigate to these weeks and make any edits required.
